Women in Business Discussion Group Tuesday 30 May 2017 | 5.45pm – 8pm

For our May session, we are delighted that Vicki Hartley, CFO of Lendi and Non-Executive Director for Dress for Success, will be sharing with us how being an accountant has given her the geographic flexibility to work internationally in London, Auckland and Sydney and how she is now using those skills to start a Non-Executive Director Portfolio.

Vicki will also speak about some of the challenges she has faced working in the traditionally male dominated areas of  investment banking and financial services and contrast that to her current experience as a Non-Executive Director on two charity and NFP boards that support women and as a result have almost 100% female staff and 100% female directors.

Vicki is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.  She has over 25 years of Financial Services Experience in Australia and the United Kingdom.  Over her career she has worked in the auditing profession before moving to work at UBS and Deutsche Bank in London alongside the trading desks, before arriving in Australia and taking senior roles at QBE and Challenger.  More recently, Vicki has held the position as the CFO of Lendi, one of the largest Australian Fintech’s that is challenging the way Mortgage Brokers compare loans and services clients in the age of the internet and google advertising.
Alongside her role at Lendi, Vicki is a Non-Executive Director for Dress for Success Sydney and Domestic Violence NSW Service Management. Vicki’s accounting qualifications and experience has assisted her in being treasurer for both these Not for Profit/NGO organisations.

We are encouraging our members to support Dress for Success and bring along a good quality handbag or piece of business attire.  Please ensure that it is clean, current style, something you bought and only wore a few times or maybe it’s now too big (or too small) or the wrong colour, not active wear.  If you would give it to a friend then Dress for Success would love to take it.  Or you can make a gold coin donation on the night.

To attend, please RSVP to Reis at cpawibfb@gmail.com or via Facebook by 5pm Friday 26 May.
