LINKEDIN – building a great profile so that you can BE FOUND FAST! - Women in Business Discussion Group Tuesday 28 November

Women in Business Discussion Group Tuesday 28 November 2017 | 5.30pm – 8pm | CPA Centre Level 3, 111 Harrington St

For our final session of 2017, we are excited to welcome Karen Tisdell to present:

LINKEDIN – building a great profile so that you can BE FOUND FAST!

  • Why keywords are important and where to put them in your profile.
  • What sections of LinkedIn should you spend a bit of time on?
  • Tips and tricks to using LinkedIn strategically to attract job opportunities, clients, business partners.

Having spent two decades obsessing over why recruiters favour some résumés over others, Karen Tisdell launched a Résumé Writing business in 2009 that combines her love of words, with helping people improve their branding. Prior to launching ‘Karen Tisdell Careers’, she worked in recruitment for 15 years - estimating that during this period she reviewed over 734,400 résumés!

Karen still finds résumés fascinating, especially given the changes occurring in recent years. No longer can you get by with simply adding your latest job to your CV. Mediocre won’t cut through an increasingly competitive employment market and career hunters now need to carefully consider if their résumé is optimised for ubiquitous word-scanning software, as well as ensure they have a digital footprint on LinkedIn.

Karen is our expert adviser on how to write a winning résumé, and how to build and use LinkedIn to be found fast. 📧 Karen@TisdellCareers.com 0404 083 678
