CPA Women in Business Discussion Group
Tuesday 27 August 2013 | 5.45pm – 8pm | CPA centre Level 3, 111 Harrington St
We are excited to welcome Elizabeth Devine as our guest speaker for our session on 27 August 2013. Elizabeth will be providing an update on recent developments in employment law.
If there is one thing which is certain in Australian employment law, it is that there is always something happening. This presentation will bring you up to date with recent developments in employment law. This includes changes to the minimum wage and parental leave, the expansion of the right to request flexible working arrangements and the introduction of an anti-bullying remedy. We will also discuss significant decisions handed down in recent months, including a case in which record damages were ordered against an employer in a case involving workplace bullying. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions on any aspect of employment law of interest to you.
